Medicine Discount for Uninsured Through United Way of Acadiana

Savings Alert! United Way of Acadiana and FamilyWize are offering FREE Discount Prescription Cards to uninsured citizens in Lafayette, Acadia, St. Martin and Vermilion parishes. Text the word 'family' to 700700 to save up to 75% on the cost of prescriptions.  Your free FamilyWize Prescription Discount Card will be sent to your phone by text. Just show the text to your pharmacist to apply the discount to the cost of your medicine.

Cards cover all prescription drugs, anyone without health or prescription coverage, all medications not covered by insurance, Medicaid, Medicare or other benefit plans.  There are no age, income, residency restrictions, or registration/enrollment paperwork required. No personal information is collected and there is no cost to the cardholder or United Way of Acadiana.  One card may be used for all family members living in one household.
