Employees at an Alabama McDonald’s have been accused of deliberately hiding bacon in sandwiches ordered by a Muslim family. Khuala Hadeed claims the bacon was deliberately concealed in sandwiches ordered by himself, and his family. Hadeed’s Family members were visiting from New York, and they went to a McDonald’s in Decatur for lunch. Fox News reports, family members noticed an uncharacteristic smoky flavor in their chicken sandwiches, all 14 of them. Hadeed is head of an American Islamic organization. He issued a statement accusing McDonald’s employees of “religious and ethnic bigotry.” A Mcdonald’s representative denied the sandwiches were deliberately tainted, saying,  “We want to assure our customers that this was not an intentional act by our employees… We are looking into the matter to understand what happened.”
