Mardi Gras Flag to be Raised in Scott Today

At noon today, dignitaries  in Scott, Louisiana, will mark the city's official kickoff of Carnival season there, with the raising of the Mardi Gras flag at Scott City Hall. Attendees will include Scott Mardi Gras Kings and Queens and public officials.  Scott's guaranteed family-friendly Mardi Gras parade will be on February 12, 2012.
