Man Robs Bank Of One Dollar

Dollar Bill
Steve Wiley

Yahoo! News reports a North Carolina man recently walked into a bank and handed a teller a note demanding one dollar, then he waited for the police. James Verone had lost his job of 17 years working as a delivery driver and was working at a convenience store . Verone has no insurance and suffers from multiple ailments, including arthritis, and he recently noticed a growth on his chest.  Verone decided if  he were sent to prison for a few years, he would get a roof over his head, meals and medical attention. His plan was to collect social security upon release and retire on the beach.

‘Ididn’t have any fears. I told the teller I would sit over here and wait for the police’  – James Verone
