Madonna performed at the Billboard Music Awards Sunday night in a tribute to Prince.  Madonna's tribute to her friend Prince kicked off with 'Nothing Compares To You' a song written by him.  Then ended with Stevie Wonder joining Madonna for the iconic song 'Purple Rain.'

Many people around the world took to social media criticizing Madonna's performance.  She couldn't care less what you think.  On Instagram she said, 'Deal with it!  Anyone who wants to do a tribute to Prince is welcome to.  Whatever your age, gender or skin color.  If you loved him, and he inspired you, then show it!  I love Prince forever.'

The group 'Questlove' took up for Madge tweeting, 'Every Prince rendition will not be a life-changing, orgasmic experience.  Just to SING his work is brave enough.'

Debbie Ray and I played a portion of Madonna's performance on the air Monday and the general consensus was that her performance was not that good at all.  Some of you who called suggested Madonna just, 'Go away.'

The 'BET Awards' will have their own Prince tribute.  BET said, "Yeah, we saw that.  Don't worry.  We got you.'  Can't wait to see what they come up with.
