For most people, celebrating grandma's birthday means taking her out to dinner, or maybe even a just a simple phone call. Macklemore clearly wasn't having any of that, as the dynamic MC took his grandma Helen, who'd just turned 100, out for a day's worth of fun festivities in his new video for his Skylar Grey-assisted single, "Glorious." Check it out for yourself below.

At the beginning of the touching vid, we see a black screen with white words overlaid onto it. The words indicate that the Washington-bred artist flew to California to surprise his grandma for her 100th birthday, and as soon as he opens the door, it's clear Helen's happy to see him. In a tear-jerking moment, she even says he made her cry.

But the visual, which was directed by Jason Koenig, is all about enjoying life while you've got it, and that's definitely what Macklemore and his grandma do throughout the vid. After securing a handy wheelchair for his special lady, Macklemore and his grandma take a trip to what appears to be a karaoke bar where they rock out in front of a small audience. By the end of the vid, Helen's hung out with a few male strippers. Gotta love it.

"Glorious" is all set to appear on Macklemore's forthcoming, Ryan Lewis-less album, which will be his first body of work since 2016's This Unruly Mess I've Made. Cop it here.
