After a tough loss to Ole Miss, LSU is delaying a decision on raising football ticket prices. I reported last week, the proposed increases would increase season ticket prices by 6 percent, and raise parking fees.

The LSU Board of Supervisors has apparently decided it's not the best time to address a proposed price increase on football tickets. Nola.com reports the price increase for football and baseball tickets has been removed from Friday night's agenda.
The Tigers suffered their second loss of the season Saturday night at conference rival Ole Miss. The loss effectively kills any hopes of a BCS championship, and places any hope of an SEC championship in serious jeopardy.

The proposed increase in ticket prices and parking fees was to take effect in 2014.  Chairman of the board's athletic committee, Blake Chatelain, says there will be a presentation Friday, and the board will vote in December. He adds the loss to Ole Miss was not a factor in the delay.
