The LSU Tigers will play for the Baton Rouge Regional title on Monday, when they play host to the UNC-Wilmington Seahawks at Alex Box Stadium in Baton Rouge.

First-pitch is scheduled for noon.

The schedule was shuffled, due to rain in the Baton Rouge area on Sunday.

LSU, the top-seed in the regional, needs only one win to move on to the NCAA Super Regionals, while UNC-Wilmington, the second-seed, must win twice.

If the Tigers win, they are regional champs. If the Seahawks win, an if necessary game would be play on Monday night.

LSU stayed unbeaten in the tournament, and advanced into the finals, by defeating UNC-Wilmington, 2-0, on Saturday night.

UNC-Wilmington stayed alive, after defeating Tulane, 8-2, in an elimination game on Sunday.

LSU is playing host to a regional for the 23rd time in school history.

The winner of the Baton Rouge Regional will face the winner of the Houston Regional, hosted by the University of Houston, in an NCAA Super Regional next weekend.
