Louisiana Teen Cameron Richard Wows American Idol Judges with Talent and Life Story

Louisiana's Cameron Richard is no stranger to the spotlight; he was the star of a feature on ABC News a few years ago. The  Raceland teenager has performed at the 2013 National Beta Convention and at the Civic Theater in New Orleans in 2013. He's a phenom, not only because of his remarkable voice, but also because of his inspirational life story. You see, Cameron was born with a cleft palate and even after surgery as a baby, doctors thought he'd need speech therapy and he certainly wasn't expected to become a singer! But he overcame the many obstacles life tossed at him, and now he's headed to Hollywood on the final season of 'American Idol.' Best of luck, Cameron!
