Louisiana's Cameron Richard is no stranger to the spotlight; he was the star of a feature on ABC News a few years ago. The  Raceland teenager has performed at the 2013 National Beta Convention and at the Civic Theater in New Orleans in 2013. He's a phenom, not only because of his remarkable voice, but also because of his inspirational life story. You see, Cameron was born with a cleft palate and even after surgery as a baby, doctors thought he'd need speech therapy and he certainly wasn't expected to become a singer! But he overcame the many obstacles life tossed at him, and now he's headed to Hollywood on the final season of 'American Idol.' Best of luck, Cameron! We'll be enjoying your Cajun accent even more than judge Harry Connick, Jr.!
