Driver training in Louisiana will soon include instruction on how to behave during a traffic stop. Confrontations between motorists have become increasingly frequent in recent years. These confrontations have all too often become deadly. AP reports, Senator Ryan Gatti (R. Shreveport) introduced the bill to require driver instruction in the Bayou State to include "appropriate driver conduct when stopped by a law enforcement officer."  The hope is the requirements will deescalate the tension between motorists and police during traffic stop situations. The bill cleared the house with a unanimous 96-0 vote. It now awaits the governor's signature.
