Have you ever wondered how we can tell when traffic is stopped on I-10 or on I-49?  Well, if you said that we get calls from motorists to alert us, you are correct, for the most part:  we also have access to the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development's website, which streams the traffic cameras, 24/7 (barring any technical difficulties).

When we get a call from a motorist, asking about a problem on I-10, we go to this website to see if we can get some insight as to where there may be a traffic problem.  There are icons for traffic cameras, construction, delays, closures and crashes, among others.

Click on this link and, when it opens, add it as a "Favorite".  That way, when you are planning to head out on the road via the interstate, you can see if there are any problems between you and your destination!
