Lost Dog: Reward Offered

We received the following Facebook message over the weekend about a lost dog.  The family is distraught, and they are offering a $1000 reward for his return.

LOST DOG! $1,000.00 REWARD. yes one thousand dollars!! We lost our little Rudy 7/5/14 around 8:30-9:00am. He is a mini Doxie with long Copper-Brown Fur. He was last seen at our house by the Dollar General and Teche Federal on La 88 in the New Iberia/Coteau Area. WE have looked up and down for him. on all the roads and everywhere. Please if yoy have him, or if youve seem him, bring our baby back home!!!! Call my Mom at 2812212477. Please help us. He has a tag with his name on it and the phone #. It is not the same one in the picture.
