Loreauville, La. Is All About St. Jude This Weekend

Tibi Hebert is co-hosting a 5K in Loreauville, La. in memory of Kamryn Dorsey, benefiting St Judes Children's Research Hospital this Saturday, October 22 starting at 9AM.   The weather will be awesome, get out of the house and have some fun for a great cause.

There is usually a group of friends and family that participate in the Lafayette St Jude's Walk in Kamryn's honor every year, coordinated by her parents Kathleen and Eddie Dorsey of Loreauville, but unfortunately that walk was cancelled due the flooding couple months ago. At that time Loreauville Mayor Brad Clifton suggested the walk be held in Loreauville.

Organizers have had such an amazing out pouring of help, sponsors, donations, etc.  There will be a 5k walk/run through the main streets of Loreauville starting and ending at Villages Park.  Included will be great food and music, awards and more!  Kathleen, Kamryn's mom, would like the day to not only bring back memories of her precious daughter who lost her battle with brain cancer in 2013 at the early age of 10 but she also wants to bring attention to the Outreach and Research Program at St Jude's.
