LOPA 5K Trail Run For Life Saturday, November 15

LOPA(Louisiana Organ Procurement Agency) hosts its first first 5k Trail Run for Life on Saturday November 15, 2014. The event begins at 8AM at the Cherokee Ridge Horse Farm in Carencro. Cash prizes will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners in male and female Masters categories, as well as other awards. Team participation is encouraged as teams will be recognized with contests.There will also be plenty of food, music and fun family activities.

LOPA's Trail Run for Life recognizes organ and tissue donors and their families and celebrates with recipients who have received the Gift of Life. LOPA’s mission is simple: provide assistance to the over 1,900 people in Louisiana waiting on a life-saving organ transplant and help save lives through organ and tissue donation.
