We received a letter recently, asking us to get the word out about this amazing young man from Lafayette. Miguel Andrade is an 11-year-old 6th-grader at LJ Alleman, and he has an opportunity to play in an international soccer tournament.

His father, after receiving the email informing him of Miguel being chosen to be on the team, videoed his son's reaction to reading the letter.

Miguel was handpicked to participate in an international soccer tournament in Spain. Out of over 5,000 kids who took part in soccer camps nation-wide, Miguel is one of only 40 chosen.

As you can tell by his reaction, Miguel is very excited about this opportunity.

The family is asking for donations to help cover the cost of his travel and lodging. Can you help provide a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for an 11-year-old with passion and a dream?

There is a GoFundMe page set up to make it easy for you to donate, click here.
