Local Elderly Need Heaters

I got word today from the Cajun Area Agency on Aging that they are getting requests from local homebound and elderly residents who are in need of heaters. Many older folks don't want to run their whole house heater due to the cost of utilities. Some don't have one that works. Others don't have one at all. We're about to get some more cold weather, so they're asking for help now. If you can donate a new, small, safe heater, CAAA will see that it goes to someone who really needs it. You can drop off during regular business hours at 110 Toledo Drive.
