We've compiled a list of SWLA Christmas Parades for you and your family to enjoy this holiday season.

Lake Charles Christmas Parade And Festival

The street parade and lighting ceremony portions of the Light up the Lake Festival have both been canceled due to inclement weather. However, the boat parade, fireworks, Santa's Workshop, and Movies with the Mayor originally planned for this Friday have been rescheduled and will now take place on Saturday, December 15.

Santa's Workshop will be from 12:00pm - 3:00pm in the Civic Center Coliseum, followed by Movies with the Mayor at 3:30pm. The lighted board parade will take place at 6:00pm on the lakefront, followed by fireworks at 6:45pm.

Kiwanis Sulphur Christmas Lighted Parade

Nov. 30, Cypress St., Sulphur. The colorful, giant balloons and Christmas light parade begins at 6pm.

Christmas Under The Oaks Festival is Nov. 30-Dec. 1st at Heritage Square in Sulphur. There is plenty to put you in the holiday spirit at the Christmas Under the Oaks Festival.  Santa will arrive at 6pm, followed by live music from Bag of Donuts at 7pm. Don’t miss the Lighting of the Christmas tree, which will take place at 8pm.

On Sat., Heritage Square will be filled with food booths, a carnival, bands and more. Enjoy live music by Louisiana Express at 6pm, followed by 100% chance of snow at 7:30pm. Carnival hours: Friday 5-10pm and Sat. Noon-10pm.

Moss Bluff Christmas Parade And Festival

The Moss Bluff Civic Club will host the Moss Bluff Christmas Parade on Dec. 8th from 2pm to 3pm.

And the Moss bluff Women's League will host the Christmas Festival called "Christmas In The Bluff" on Saturday Dec. 8th from 10am to 5pm, they will have 53 craft/market vendors to shop, kids activities with a bounce house and barrel train ride, a sweet shop, and pictures & story time with Santa. Santa pictures are $5 from 10:30am to 1pm & 2:30pm to 4:30pm and story time with Santa is 1pm to 1:30pm, there is also a letters to Santa box. It will be held at the Moss Bluff Rec Center.

Jennings Christmas Parade And Festival

Dec. 1, Founders Park (Main St.), Jennings. The Jennings Downtown Christmas Festival is a perfect example of why there's no place like Jennings, LA for the holidays. Founders Park is transformed into a glittering Christmas Wonderland. Food vendors will also be on-site. The Christmas parade will start at 4pm, followed by fireworks at 7pm.

DeQuincy Christmas Parade And Activities

Program will consist of craft and food vendors, hot chocolate, music and singing. At 10:30am. the parade will travel west from the Nichols Dept. Several event have been scheduled to occur downtown at 11am. Wrap up the evening with fireworks at the DeQuincy Ballpark at 6:30pm. Admission is free.

Starks Christmas Parade

Dec. 1 at 2pm, Starks VFW 4759. Christmas Parade followed by Christmas hotlinks and chips, hosted by the Auxiliary at 3:30pm, VFW Post 4759.
