Lions and Tigers and BEARS Oh My!

At approximately 12:45 AM today, a small black bear was seen in a Lafayette Neighborhood near the intersection of San Carlos and Merida, which is off of Dulles Drive.

 The bear was last seen traveling in a westward direction. The Lafayette Police Department wants citizens who live in and around that area to be on the look out and to call 911 if the bear is spotted.  Experts tell LPD officials that the bear may be coming out of hibernation and seeking food in trash cans.
