Lila And Flat Stanley Visit The KTDY Studio

Lila and Flat Stanley made a visit to the 99.9 KTDY studio today to take a picture for the project.

Flat Stanley is a project that takes a paper figure and uses it to help teach kids.  According to the Flat Stanley website, the project requires participants to interact with other individuals across the globe, sharing Flat Stanley's adventure, therefore teaching other cultures about your own.

Kids are inspired to write of their own passion and excitement about the project, and given the freedom to write about many things through the rubric of the Flat Stanley character. - Flat Stanley

Flat Stanley is a mutual "friend" to the kids, serving as a pen-pal topic, so-to-speak, in which they share Flat Stanley's adventures with one another.

A great project (I've helped a few friends and relatives with their Flat Stanley project - it's fun!), and I hope that you help if asked to host Flat Stanley for a day (or a whole adventure!).

Lila seemed to enjoy her visit today, though she is a radio station visit veteran, having been here when MacKenzie Bourg visited!
