Do parents tell their children little white lies to get them to stop asking for things?  Sure they do.  A study has found the top lies moms and dads tell kids to get them to stop asking for things.

"They don't sell batteries for that toy" or "when the ice cream truck is playing music means they ran out of ice cream" are just two of the lies parents tell kids to basically make shut them up.

Parents, this works particularly well with children young enough to buy in to these falsies.
