Legendary Broadcaster Morley Safer Has Passed Away

One of the best known names in Broadcast media has left us. CBS News reports, the legendary Morley Safer has passed away. I've been watching him on TV since childhood. That was quite some time ago, by the way. Safer changed the way news is reported. He brought the horror of the Vietnam conflict home to us in our living rooms. Safer went on to be a principal figure on CBS' award winning "60 Minutes" for 46 years. He'd recently announced his retirement. His health was deteriorating. Morley Safer was 84. Rest in peace, Mr. Safer.
