Lane Closures on I-10 in Acadiana

If you drive I-10 anywhere between Jeff Davis and the Basin Bridge at night, heads up! Beginning Wednesday, October 26, 2011, I-10 in Lafayette Parish will be reduced to one lane for the replacement of overhead signs in the eastbound direction.  The work will take place near the University Avenue and I-49 interchanges between the hours of 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.  The work is scheduled to last for three nights – weather permitting.

I-10 will be reduced to one lane for a moving operation in the eastbound and westbound directions from the Jefferson Davis Parish line to the Atchafalaya Basin Bridge. The work will take place between the hours of 8:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. beginning Wednesday, October 26, 2011 through Wednesday, November 9, 2011.    This closure is necessary for the replacement of raised pavement markers.
