Lafayette Shooting Lands 1 In Hospital; Has Police Looking For 3 People

A shooting near the intersection of Debaillon and Doc Duhon Streets Tuesday afternoon leaves one man in the hospital and Lafayette Police looking for two men and a woman.

According to Lafayette Police spokesman Corporal Paul Mouton, the incident happened around 2:30 p.m. when two men were walking down the street, encountered a man and woman in the front yard of one of the homes at 301 Doc Duhon Street, and then allegedly began shooting at them. Officers say the man in the yard fired back and a bullet grazed the head of one of the two men in the street. That person is in the hospital in good condition.
