Two teenagers are recovering from a Wednesday night shooting as Lafayette Police continue to look for who did it.

LPD Spokesman Corporal Paul Mouton says it happened as the two victims were walking on Ena Street near its intersection with North St. Antoine when a dark colored SUV drove by and fired multiple shots in their direction. The 17-year-old male was shot in the ankle; the 19-year-old male was wounded in the leg. Both victims are in good condition.

Officers are still trying to figure out the motive behind the shooting. What they were able to figure out was that one vehicle and two homes were also struck by the gunfire.
