Lafayette Sheriff’s Office Investigating Shooting Death

One person is dead following a shooting in Lafayette Parish.

Sheriff's spokesman John Mowell says the fatality happened in the 400 block of Dr. Arceneaux Road this morning.

Detectives are conducting interviews about the shooting, but no other information is available at this time.
