Lafayette School Uniform Drive Is Underway

I know what you're thinking. Why is this guy writing about school in June? Life is short, and so are summer vacations!
The Lafayette Parks and Recreation Department's annual School Uniform Drive is now underway. It runs through August 2nd.

Gently used uniforms may be dropped off at any of the Lafayette Recreation Centers between 3:00pm and 9:00pm. The locations are:
Girard Park Recreation Center, 500 Girard Park Drive
George Dupuis Recreation Center, 1212 E. Pont Des Mouton
Comeaux Recreation Center, 411 W. Bluebird Drive
Heymann Park Recreation Center, 1500 S. Orange Street
Domingue Recreation Center, 901 Mudd Avenue
J. Carlton James Recreation Center, 710 Aster Drive
Martin Luther King Recreation Center, 309 Cora Street
Robicheaux Recreation Center, 1919 Eraste Landry Road
Thomas Park Recreation Center, 301 Geraldine Street

It's a great idea to do this now & "get it off your plate" before you go on vacation. You'll be left with one less thing to do in preparation for next school year. it'll be here all too soon!
