register.

Aviation Fun Day is a fun and educational venue that allows children to witness the operations and “behind-the-scenes” daily activities of a commercial airport.

Children will see a firefighting demonstration from the ARFF team and take a bus tour of the airfield that begins at 10:45 a.m. Additional games and activities will be available and lunch will be provided.

Parents must pre-register every child attending for safety and security reasons. Registration is available online at lafayetteairport.com, or by calling the airport office at 266-4401. Only those who preregister will be admitted.  No strollers or coolers will be permitted. Only one parent may accompany children due to limited availability of space on buses making the tour. All children must have parental supervision.
