The main branch of the Lafayette Public Library has been undergoing a massive renovation for the past four years. The grand reopening is at hand. Emma Guillory, and Beth Chiasson stopped by Tuesday to talk about the July 6th event. The Jefferson Street branch will close July 3rd. Festivities begin with a flag raising at 9:30, followed by a ribbon cutting at 10:00. There will be tours, refreshemnts, and story times from 11:00 - 2:00. The Library officially opens to the public Tuesday, at 8:30 am. I asked Emma for a little preview. Here's her response, "All I can give you is a new exterior shot. We're holding all photos of the interior until after the big unveiling on Monday. :)"  You're invited to go see it for yourself...
