Lafayette Parish Public Schools Will Be Closed Thursday According To KPEL

Because of the rainy, stormy weather that has been happening since Tuesday and is expected to happen into Thursday morning, here are the school closures for Thursday:

• Lafayette Parish Public Schools will be closed.

• St. Mary Parish Public Schools will be closed. Regular 12-month employees will still need to report to work. Morgan City Catholic schools Holy Cross, Central Catholic and Glencoe Charter School as well as St. John Elementary and Hanson Memorial High School in Franklin are closing as well.
