Lafayette Native In Finals For Cover Of Rolling Stone
Lafayette native Lelia Broussard is competing in an online contest to appear on the cover of Rolling Stone magazine! If you’ve been listening to KTDY for a while, you may remember a little girl we put on the radio to sing the National Anthem about fourteen years ago. At first we thought, ‘Oh this will be cute’, but that child could really sing! Well, she’s all grown up now and is a terrific singer-songwriter who has a hip, cool indie-pop sound. Click through the jump to hear her songs and vote! She’s a hard worker, too, as she has played her songs, promoted her music and self-released four cd’s, finally getting what may be the biggest chance of her life in this Rolling Stone contest! She’s in the lead right now (her competition is a rock band from Canada) and I hope you will check her out and help put her on the cover of the legendary music magazine, Rolling Stone, by voting for her when you click the box below! Geaux, Lelia!
