The Lafayette Community Job Fair, presented by Waste Management held today in the ballroom at the Heymann Performing Arts Center attracted thousands of job seekers as Louisiana's oil industry takes a hit.

Citizens of Acadiana gathered for the start of the job fair early this morning before the doors opened at 8AM and by close at 2PM, thousands had flowed through the ballroom of the Heymann Performing Arts Center speaking with business owners and representatives hoping to find work.
