Lafayette, Louisiana is aiming for a Guiness World Record for the world’s largest ever gathering of princesses and heroes in one location! Everyone who comes dressed as a Disney character to the Cajundome on Wednesday, March 26, at 6 PM will receive a certificate of participation, a meet & greet with a star of Disney On Ice and one complimentary ticket to Disney On Ice presents Princesses & Heroes, playing Thursday, March 27 – Sunday March 30th.

The current record is only 361 people! Surely, we can beat that here in Lafayette!
The record breaking attempt will take place in a designated area promptly at 7:00 pm. All participants must be dressed in a traditional Disney character costume to participate.  A horn will sound to initiate the start of the record breaking attempt. All participants must remain in the area for ten minutes. During that time, a group photo will be taken. After ten minutes are complete, a final horn will sound and a final number will be announced.  Parents should note per Guinness World Records’ rules only costume participants are allowed in the designated counting area so each child’s accompanying guardian should be in costume, too, if they want to be included in the tally trying to break this world record.

(Opening night tickets start at only $10. For more information visit DisneyOnIce.com.)
