KTDY Daddy/Daughter Night Pics And Video

KTDY's Daddy/Daughter night was an evening for dads and their daughters to get to know each other on a whole new level.  A trolley ride, spa treatment, dinner, dessert and lasting memories...what a night!

CJ from KTDY, his daughter Brittni and Rob Kirkpatrick from KPEL along with his daughter Leighton, joined 13 local dads for a night out with the girls.  This night out with the girls was a bit different than in the old days.  The girls on this warm and humid Thursday night were the most beautiful and special ladies in the world, their daughters.

The evening started with a Lafayette Limo and Trolley ride from the KTDY studios on Bertrand Drive in Lafayette to Spa Mizan on Kaliste Saloom on board an old time trolley.  When the trolley arrived at Spa Mizan, the entire staff was standing by to make the evening unforgettable for everyone.  Dads were coached on how to polish fingernails and toenails, apply lipstick and even do hair.  The staff at Spa Mizan were kind, sweet, patient, helpful and extreme organized making the entire daddy/daughter experience second to none.  Dads did most of the polishing, applying and braiding all by themselves.

After the girls were all dolled up, everyone boarded the trolley and headed to Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers on Bertrand Drive for burgers and dessert.  Hats off to the amazing staff of Freddy's as they served all the hungry dads and daughters fast!

Shortly after burgers, fries and onion rings were served and before dessert came, The Storybook Headquarters characters, representing leading icons from movies such as Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Frozen and more dropped in to surprise these loving dads and their daughters.  About a million pictures were taken.  It was an amazing night.
