Kanye West isn't exactly known for being modest...or shy. The rapper has reportedly asked Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg to back his ventures to the tune of 1 billion dollars. A report from marketwatch.com says tweets asking Zuckerberg for the money are genuine, along with several others, bashing industry executives for what West terms as their hypocracy in reaping the rewards of record sales, but not investing in the genre. Ironically, West's latest album, "The Life of Pablo" isn't available on itunes, or Spotify, only Tidal. I'm no economist, but it seems to me he's missing the opportunity to sell a lot of music. By the way, West is reportedly 53 million dollars in debt.
