Judy Blume is back! The 76-year-old writer who gained YA fame by penning relatable hits like, 'Are You There, God? It's Me, Margaret' and 'Superfudge' is releasing her first book since the '90s. The currently-unnamed book will be Blume's fourth adult novel, following her most recent release, 1998's 'Summer Sisters.'

Her publisher, Alfred A. Knopf, confirmed that the book is expected to release in 2015. Carole Baron, Ms. Blume’s editor at Knopf, spoke to the New York Times about the book saying, “It’s pure Judy Blume, writing about family and about friendships, about love, about betrayal. It’s quintessential Judy.”

Blume also expressed her own excitement in a statement released by Knopf saying, “I’m both thrilled and terrified, my usual feelings at this point. I’ll be hiding out this summer revising, my favorite part of the process.”

Blume most recently made news when she announced her breast cancer diagnosis in August 2012 on her blog. We're glad to hear she's still working, sharing her wisdom with readers and staying healthy!
