Judge Refuses House Arrest To Former Saints Safety Darren Sharper
Former New Orleans Saints free safety Darren Sharper is back in a Los Angeles jail. Sharper is awaiting trial on charges he raped, and drugged to women. He was released on a million dollars bail. Superior Court Judge Renee Korn ordered Sharper be placed in custody after he was charged with committing similar crimes in Arizona. The Times Picayune reports, Korn says she's waiting to see if Arizona seeks extradition. Prosecutors claim the Arizona governor's office will seek extradition. Sharpers attorneys say that's not the case. Sharper was a key player in the Saints' 2009 Super Bowl season.
