Join us for a modern Halloween classic as Downtown Lafayette's Movies in the Parc presents the 80s Halloween classic Ghostbusters, this Saturday, October 20th. The real Louisiana Ghostbusters will also be on hand, in full costume!  If that's not spooky enough, get haunted by characters from the Museum of Fear!

Ousted parapsychology professors Spengler, Stantz and Venkman go into business trapping and removing ghosts from haunted houses. The Ghost Busters do a booming business ridding New York City of its undead, until they're then called to a downtown skyscraper to confront a foe that may be more than the team can handle.

One of my favorite parts is when Bill Murray's character tells the Mayor of New York, "You will have been personally responsible for saving the lives of millions of registered voters"....

Gates open at 5:45p.m. Showtime is 6:30. Admission is $2, free for children 5 and under. Parking is available at Parc-Auto du Centreville, and concessions are available on site.
Downtown Lafayette's Movies in the Parc is presented by Cox and Women's & Children's Hospital
