Johnston St. Work Will Impact Traffic for Two Weeks Starting Tonight

Louisiana DOTD says they're replacing the pavement markings on Johnston St. That means traffic will be impacted for two weeks. Johnston Street will be reduced to one lane in both directions from Ambassador Caffery to US 90 Evangeline Thruway beginning tonight.  The work will take place between the hours of 8:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. and is expected to last for two weeks, depending on the weather. At least it's not being done the week before Christmas!
