‘jeep jaunt’ JAM!! Was A Success!!

The 6th Annual 'jeep jaunt' is set for October 23rd, and to kick off the registration process, the 'jeep jaunt' JAM!! took place Saturday at Sterling Automotive in Opelousas! 

Gates opened at 9am, registration began at 10am.  Jeff's Music Entertainment's DJs kept the crowd entertained until Sean Trcalek took the stage.  Jeepers munched on burgers and dogs from Pat's Grocery in Youngsville and Rice Dressing from Landry's Cafe' South on Pinhook!

Lafayette Coca-Cola is provided beverages (so did Schilling Distributors!!)..  Door prizes that were given away included tickets to see Keith Urban in the Cajundome, a $150 Gift Certificate to Mr. Lester's Steakhouse, a GPS system from Budweiser/Schilling Distributors, and Marc Broussard Tickets, among other items.  The first 50 people registered received the free 'jeep jaunt' gym bag, like the one pictured below!

There were JEEPS galore, and a few of the participants even bought BRAND NEW JEEPS from Sterling Automotive!!

Jim Richard, of Goodwill Industries, along with help from Jerry Russo and LJ Bordelon did the cooking for us, and Randy Hopper with Cajun Harley Owner's Group provided shade (thanks Cajun Harley Davidson!!).

Light Line of Louisiana had a booth set up with Jeep and off-road accessories, and Smokey Hebert's Snap-On tools provided door prizes!

Over $4000 was raised for the American Lung Association of Louisiana!!

Our next event:  The 6th Annual 'jeep jaunt'!!  October 23rd at Celebrity Theatres.  You can download this registration form, print it out, fill in your information, and mail it with your payment to the address listed, and you'll be registered for the 'jeep jaunt'!!  Remember, the first 300 that register before October 14th will receive the 'jeep jaunt' event T-Shirt FREE!!
