‘jeep jaunt’ JAM!! August 27

The pre-registration kick-off party for the 11th Annual 'jeep jaunt' will take place in Opelousas on August 27, 2016, beginning at 9am.

The 'jeep jaunt' JAM!! on August 27 gives the earliest opportunity to register for the annual event, which raises money for the American Lung Association.  This year's 'jeep jaunt' will take place on October 30; online registration will open on August 29.

This year's JAM!! will feature live entertainment, food, Coca-Cola beverages from Lafayette Coca-Cola, door prizes and more.

The first 300 people registered will receive a free 'jeep jaunt' t-shirt.  50 participants will be chosen at random for this year's 'jeep jaunt' specialty item.

So far, with the help of their partners Cypress Bayou Casino Hotel, Sterling Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep/Ram, Celebrity Theatres, KATC TV3 and Townsquare Media, the 'jeep jaunt' has raised over $500,000 for the American Lung Association and has been recognized locally and nationally for their volunteerism efforts.

Registration opens at 9am on Saturday, August 27, at Sterling Jeep, 5524 I-49 N Service Road in Opelousas.  Registration is $20 per person, ages 7 and up.  Food and drinks will be available for purchase, as well as 50/50 raffle tickets and door prize tickets. Access ATM will have a portable ATM on site, with ALL of the ATM fees being donated to the American Lung Association.
