It’s True: Unicorns Are (Were) Real
I sometimes try to convince my kids and my nephews that the rougarou (or loupgarou, depending on how you say it) is real. As far as I know, there's no such thing. I used to think the same about unicorns
Until I read this.
It turns out that unicorns, or at least, an animal a lot like them called the Elasmotherium sibiricum, were believed to have gone extinct around 350, 000 years ago. Scientists recently found a skull that proves the creatures went extinct more recently than they originally thought, only 29, 000 years ago, meaning they existed alongside human beings for a time.
Maybe I should start looking for some rougarou bones. You never know...
