It's Thursssssssday!  One more day till the weekend!  Today is the day Samuel F.B. Morse transmitted the message, "What hath God wrought!" from Washington to Baltimore as he formally opens America's first telegraph line.  Earth, Wind and Fire took 'Shining Star' to number 1 in 1975 and 'Thelma & Louise' is in theaters in '91.

Today is the day Justin Bieber starts selling tickets for his North American Tour.  American Express Card holders can buy them today.  These shows will sell out!  The Cajunheartland St. Fair opens at the Cajundome today.  Remember, this Saturday night, KTDY presents Cowboy Mouth live on the Cox Grandstand for a free outdoor concert.  The weather will be perfect!

Happy birthday to Tommy Chong (Cheech & Chong) 74, Bob Dylan 71 (and I still haven't understood a thing he's said), Gary Burghoff (M*A*S*H*) 69, Priscilla Presley is 67 and Patti LaBelle (one of my favs) is 68 today.
