It’s ‘National Love Your Pet Day’

I've never been a big animal lover. That being said, animals & children love me. I made some sweeping changes in my life last year, including moving into a household that includes a cat. His name is Jacques. That's him in the above photo. Jacques & I have become quite close over the past year and a half. The future Mrs. decided to dye him pink. Don't freak out. She consulted a vet & used safe stuff, food coloring & Kool Aid. Today is "National Love Your Pet Day." Most American households have at least one pet. There are more cats than dogs in the U.S., but more households have dogs than cats. Huh? Maybe I need to read that again, slowly. Jacques is our only pet.
