Facebook Privacy Post is Bogus

I am seeing people all over Facebook saying that you need post a legal notice on your Facebook wall so as to protect your copyright and privacy rights. This is bogus.  Your privacy on Facebook is controlled by your Privacy settings- which you set for yourself.
