Is The Hoverboard A Reality? Lexus Says ‘Yes’ [Videos]

In "Back To the Future Part II" Marty McFly travels forward in time to 2015. There's a chase scene eerily reminiscent of a similar chase that took place in the first installment. This time Marty's getaway vehicle is a hoverboard. I reported last summer that Marty's hoverboard was to be auctioned by a London auction house, along with other movie props. It obviously wasn't functional. It's 2015. Has the hoverboard become a reality? The people at Lexus would apparently have us believe so. Technewsworld.com reports, the car maker has announced a working hoverboard that levitates magnetically.
