You've probably heard about the 7 year itch that supposed to make most couples separate, but does it really happen?  Yes it does, but it's a little longer.

Brigham Young University in Utah did a study on this age old philosophy and found that 7 years is not quite right.  So when do couples feel like moving on?  They say it's 10 years.  The research found that couples become unhappy with each other after about 10 years together.

The experts think unhappiness sinks in after 10 years because that's when a woman's responsibilities are the toughest.  After 10 years a couple is probably busy raising a family and in a larger house which demands more upkeep eroding the time two people might devote to the relationship.

The university did find something interesting.  Seems as though couples who made it past 10 years found the relationship slowly got better.  And after 30 years, couples experienced the same level of happiness as when they were newlyweds.
