Some researchers and doctors believe it should be, citing the health benefits of consuming raw marijuana in ways that do not involve heat.

Physician and researcher Dr. William Courtney uses raw cannabis to treat patients who suffer from a variety of ailments, including cancer and arthritis. Courtney told Fox News that about 8, 000 of his patients have experienced positive affects from consuming dietary marijuana in its raw form, either juiced, blended, or even chopped and added to salads and cole slaw.  “My experience day in and day out is overwhelmingly positive with patients who are using it,” he said.

Juicing or ingesting cannabis doesn't cause a person to get high but still delivers the medical benefits of the plant, and there are even researchers who believe marijuana has a number of health benefits beyond pain relief. Click here to read the full article.
