Is Lafayette the South’s Tastiest Town?

There are a lot of reasons to love Lafayette - the funky, homegrown music scene, the fun-loving people, the family-friendly festivals. But one of the best reasons to love Lafayette is the FOOD! Show some love for our unique and delicious food in the Southern Living poll! Young and seasoned chefs alike are building upon their Cajun and Creole roots to create new classic dishes, bringing the freshest ingredients from the farm to the table for your culinary enjoyment.

Southern Living magazine has included Lafayette as one of the top 10 'Tastiest Towns in the South' and now it's up to all of us to make sure Lafayette wins. Cast your vote daily for Lafayette through January 31st and you'll help name the South's Tastiest Town. Plus, you'll be entered for a chance to win a $2,500 cash prize for a trip to any Tasty Town of your choice.

As of today, there are about 1,150 votes separating #1 Lafayette and #2 Louisville. Louisville is a much larger city than Lafayette and they apparently think they have good food, too.  We need everyone to vote for Lafayette every day through Jan. 31 and tell your friends!
