If bigger is better, then Starbucks has the right idea. The giant coffee chain is getting ready to debut a new size option- the Trenta, their biggest yet. It’s seven ounces larger than the current largest size, the Venti, and holds an astounding 916 milliliters in volume. To give you an idea of just how much that is- the adult human stomach has an average capacity of 900 milliliters! Starbucks locations in the U.S. will only offer iced tea, iced coffee and iced tea lemonade in the new size, and a Trenta will cost 50 cents more than a Venti. The company says that Trenta unsweetened drinks will have fewer than 90 calories, and sweetened ones will have fewer than 230 calories. Looks like size does matter!
