A business owner is recovering in the hospital after getting shot during an armed robbery.

Iberia Parish Sheriff Louis Ackal says it happened late Saturday night when three male suspects broke into "Cuttin Times" on Field Street, forcing their way through the front door and demanding money from the owner. Deputies say the suspects took an undisclosed amount of cash, then shot the victim in the leg before getting away.

Police say the suspects, all described as black males, were all wearing black clothing and had their faces covered. The Iberia Parish Sheriff's Office continues to investigate, so call them at (337) 369-3711 if you have any information.
